You can take METROBUS to the Movement Center, using either the 14th street lines ( 52, 53, 54) SEE THE LINE SCHEDULE or the 16th Street lines (S1, S2 and S4) SEE THE LINE SCHEDULE.

METRORAIL

You can take the GREEN LINE to Columbia Heights. The Dance Institute of Washington is two block from the Columbia Heights station stop.

BY CAR

There is limited 2 hour parking surrounding the Dance Institute of Washington. There are also ample meters on 14th Street NW.

PICK UP AND DROP OFF

The Dance Institute of Washington has a limited Drop Off and Pick Up on the Newton Street NW side.

WHERE TO HANG OUT WHILE YOUR MOVERS ARE IN CLASS

The Columbia Heights neighbothood is full of eateries and shopping.

Our favorite hangout is La Caprice, a fabulous bakery just north of Newton Street. They make their own amazing cakes, cookies and pastries, and their Cold Brew is delicious.
